The pothole gardener
The Pothole Gardener is a project I began a few years ago, which explores ideas around happiness. The blog has been featured widely in the press (here is a small selection). I've worked with brands such as Lancia, Kopparberg and Universal to create unique viral content with my gardens.
Holes Of Happiness, a short documentary I produced (which is currently doing the festival circuit) has had a great reaction online, with over 200,000 views to date. Dokument Press have recently published The Little Book of Little Gardens which chronicals my gardening antics.
HUMTOO
I co-founded HUMTOO late 2008.
HUMTOO began as music marketplace, where TV producers could post their projects in search of music and musicians could post their tracks for that project.
By mid 2009, HUMTOO had grown into a large community and we launched a user-generated production music library with over 6,500 quality production music tracks.
The site boasted a large and rapidly growing community and the library has been broadcast internationally earning money in the form of broadcast royalties.
The HUMTOO Bicycle Orchestra
Working to promote my site HUMTOO, an online music community, created a series of guerrilla gigs around London at Christmas time to gain exposure for the site and raise money for charity.
My bicycle orchestra was joined by Vocality, a London based choir, to create a series of unique performances on wheels to raise money for the charity Shelter.
The orchestra is conducted by Santa (of course) leading the orchestra and choir of around 35 on a Tuk-Tuk. The tuned bells on the bikes make for a harmonious, tuneful sound!
voodlenation
voodlenation is a video event I hold in conjunction with live festivals. Voodles are short pieces of video that are shot on whatever medium is available. voodlenation enables audience participation at festivals by allowing audiences to film what their watching and doing at the festival, send it to the voodlenation team (by text or email or by hand) and we broadcast it on the voodlenation screen.
Recently, voodlenation teamed up with Flip Video and we attended Shoreditch Street Festival, Streetfest.

As part of my major project for my MA Design studies (applied imagination in the creative industries) I’ve explored this question through a series of artefacts.
TV 2.0 is coming. Fast. Banterbox is a social television application that I’m using to test the possibilities for TV 2.0.
More information about the project is on www.banterbox.tv.

Google Hangouts are becoming an increasingly popular way for brands to connect and converse with their audience.
I’ve produced a few hangouts recently, but this one was by far the most challenging. A multi camera shoot with 14 participants presents some quite unique hurdles!
It was great fun and the team did a great job. Here’s a cutdown version of the hangout, let me know what you think.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a little festive garden, would it?
I was shooting with Dan curtis from the BBC last weekend, and I took these snaps which I’ve turned into a little Christmas film…
I also wanted to remind people that some people do it rough at Christmas, why not support a charity like SHELTER this festive season.
Have a wonderful Christmas!

I thought it was finally time to pimp my showreel with the work I’ve been producing for atp in the google creative lab.
It’s funny, I’ve probably done over 100 sizzle reels for various clients over the years but when it comes to my own reel I really struggle…anyway, let me know what you think.

This year has been pretty epic workwise with atp. I’ve been lucky enough to produce some fantastic projects – it only seems like yesterday that I was heading off to Tanzania to shoot the google gives back series – but it’s over a year ago!
My favourite project that I produced this year was part of the Space Lab series, where we made a film about Sachin one of the finalists in the regional winners in the series. He was a really inspirational guy and he was so keen to show us around his home town, Banglaore.
Here are some of my other favourite projects that across the pond have produced…
